Privacy.

Daily Manager is a small reflection app. This policy explains what information is used to run it, how personal notes are protected, and which choices you have.

Last updated: 23 May 2026

Summary

Daily Manager uses account authentication, card collection data, streak data, display-case settings, and personal journal entries so the app can remember your daily card ritual. Notes are intended to stay with your signed-in account unless you deliberately enable a public display-case link.

Daily Manager does not sell personal data, does not show third-party ads, and does not request Android permissions for location, camera, microphone, contacts, phone, SMS, installed-app inventory, or the advertising ID. Optional analytics and support widgets only load after you allow the relevant optional cookies or similar technologies.

Who Is Responsible

Daily Manager is responsible for deciding how personal data is used in the app and on dailymanager.uk. For privacy requests, contact notifications@dailymanager.uk.

Information We Process

Journal entries and display-case text are free text fields. Daily Manager is not designed for health, finance, employment, legal, or other special-category information, and you should avoid adding sensitive personal information unless you are comfortable storing it in your account.

How We Use It

Lawful Bases

You can withdraw optional cookie consent at any time from this page. The right to object applies to processing based on legitimate interests; email notifications@dailymanager.uk if you want to object.

Cookies And Browser Storage

Daily Manager uses necessary browser storage for authentication, security, app state, and remembering this consent choice. These are needed for the app to work.

Optional third-party cookies or similar technologies may be used by Microsoft Clarity after you accept analytics cookies. Optional support cookies or similar technologies may be used by Buy Me a Coffee after you accept marketing cookies or open its external support link. If you choose necessary cookies only, these optional services are not loaded by Daily Manager.

Service Providers

Service providers may process data in countries outside the UK or EEA. Where this happens, Daily Manager relies on the provider's published transfer safeguards, such as adequacy regulations, standard contractual clauses, or equivalent contractual protections.

When Data Is Shared

Personal data is shared with service providers only as needed to run, secure, test, support, and improve Daily Manager. Daily Manager may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate notice.

If you enable a display-case share link, anyone with the link can view the display-case title, intro, selected cards, and display-case metadata. Personal journal notes, daily draw history, action history, authentication details, and raw account identifiers are not intended to be included in public display-case responses.

Your Choices

You can choose necessary cookies only from the cookie banner. You can also reset your choice on this page.

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability for personal data connected to your account. You can also withdraw consent for optional cookies and similar technologies.

To request account and app-data deletion, use the delete account page or email notifications@dailymanager.uk. If you are in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Retention And Security

Daily Manager keeps account and app data while your account is active or while needed to operate, secure, debug, or comply with legal obligations. Closed-test details are kept while needed to manage the Google Play test, production launch readiness, related feedback, and reasonable support records. Cookie consent is normally remembered for up to 182 days unless you reset it sooner. Backup, diagnostic, and security records are removed or overwritten through normal retention cycles.

Personal data is protected using reasonable technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS, protected API routes, Clerk token validation, limited CORS origins, and cloud service access controls.

Children

Daily Manager is not aimed at children and should not be used by anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, email notifications@dailymanager.uk so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

Automated Decisions

Daily Manager does not make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. Card draws, streaks, and collection progress are app features and are not used to decide eligibility for external services.
